This is an exciting secondment opportunity for a talented communications professional to be part of the relaunch of a national NHS brand. If you enjoy providing both strategic and hands-on communications support and are ready for a new challenge in 2020, this could be the opportunity you have been waiting for.

Improvement Cymru is the national improvement service for NHS Wales delivered by Public Health Wales. Our goal is to work with NHS Wales and its partner organisations to achieve sustainable, measurable improvements so that the services offered to patients are safer, more effective and timely.

The successful applicant will be a critical part of our communications team. You will develop, implement and evaluate a range of communications activities to support our all-Wales improvement programmes. For example this may include developing campaigns, social media, news stories, blogs and communications packs.

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic communications professional who enjoys being part of a team and is keen to use their skills to play a key role in the delivery of innovative healthcare communications.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to join our team at a pivotal time based in our offices in the heart of the city of Cardiff at Capital Quarter 2, which is only a short walk from Cardiff Central Railway Station.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
