This is a fixed term post for 12 months, due to covering current post holder's secondment.
If you are an Public Health employee this post will only be offered on a secondment basis and you will need to have gained your line managers approval for the secondment prior to going to interview.
A 12 month secondment opportunity has arisen within the Business Partnering function of Public Health Wales resulting in an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and technically skilled individual to join the Trust as a Finance Partner.
The successful candidate will provide a full finance partnering role, including providing management accountancy advice and support on financial issues and business case development to managers at all levels. As an active member of the Finance function, you will provide support to the Finance Business Partner on all aspects of financial management.
You will have management accounting experience in the NHS, or similar large organisation, in an environment dealing with complex issues. You will have good analytical and communication skills and be able to maintain excellent relationships with both finance and non-finance staff, with the ability to present financial data to a variety of individuals and groups.
You will be positive, resourceful and enthusiastic and a willingness to get involved in the development of the Trust Finance team.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
