Job title: Project Support Manager

Tenure: Fixed Term/Secondment up to March 2021

Salary:  Band 5

 

Working pattern: 37.5 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a keen, enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to join the Welsh Cancer Intelligence Surveillance Unit (WCISU) at the Public Health Wales office in the Capital Quarter 2 in Cardiff.

The successful candidate will provide co-ordination, business and operational project support and have lead responsibility for managing a number of key project work packages.  We would welcome applications from individuals who have excellent organisational skills and the ability to independently prioritise a multitude of conflicting tasks effectively. Experience of both project management and administration is required.  

The post-holder will be expected to contribute to the development and management of a range of work-streams where the WCISU works in partnership with NHS Wales and other organisations across the UK. The projects have a high profile that requires liaison and effective communication with key cancer stakeholders to include, Public Health England, Health Boards & Trusts, NHS Wales Informatics Service (NWIS), the Wales Cancer Network and Welsh Government.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.
