Laboratory Support Worker Band 2 £17,652 to £19,020
An opportunity has arisen for a full or part time laboratory support worker to join our screening team based at our screening centre in Llantrisant.
The successful candidate will be required to work as part of the team responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of the Bowel Screening Programme and the Cervical Screening Programme in Wales.
They will be responsible for unpacking samples, checking sample identification, barcode labelling of samples, data entry of patient information, and dealing with telephone queries as well as administrative support to both programmes.
This is a busy and varied role, which requires the ability to deal with a wide range of stakeholders, tasks and deadlines. There is a requirement to organise, prioritise and plan your workload in order to achieve your objectives. Team working is essential for this role along with excellent telephone skills and a high level of accuracy when entering participant pathway information and data.
If you have the relevant experience and are self-motivated, with the ability to juggle and prioritise a range of tasks then we would love to hear from you.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Interviews to take place on 29th April 2020.
Welsh language skills are desirable
